Supplementary pipe markers are used when additional information about a pipes content is required. This biological hazard supplementary pipe marker is used to identify pipes that may be contaminated with biologically hazardous material. It is colour coded yellow with black biological hazard symbols and is available in two different sizes.

Wherever it is considered that a pipe may contain a biological hazard, a biological hazard supplementary pipe marker must be used in conjunction with the standard pipe marker representing the pipes contents.

 

Where marking pipes or ducts that may contain hazardous materials, supplementary marking may be required to comply to AS1345-1995.
