    Installation
  • 1. Unfold and lay out on ground
  • 2. Place hole which is at one end over outflow pipe
  • 3. Pull sock as far as possible over pipe
  • 4. Secure sock with straps to tree, stakes or near by object
  • 5. Ensure emptying openings are at top of sock



    Sock pulled to edge of river and being emptied with suction hose via port holes on top of sock


    Emptying
    6. Open flap of one of the three emptying ports
    7. Insert suction hose
    8. Suck sewerage from sock
    9. Move suction hose to the other emptying positions and remove sewerage
    10. Remove sock from water if necessary to remove any remaining solids
    11. When sock is empty ensure port flaps are re-secured before sock is returned to operation

    Cleaning & Storage
    12. Clean sock at an appropriate location by spraying with water
    13. Ensure all sediment and objects are removed
    14. Soak in 20% solution of Citrox non toxic disinfectant for 6 hours to sanitise sock
    15. Remove from Citrox bath, shake and air dry
    16. Check sock for damage, repair any damage
    17. Pack sock away for future use
