Danger sign – custom text

A danger sign is used to indicate warning of a hazard which is likely to be life-threatening. We can custom print your message on a danger sign – simply select the size and material you require and add your message into the comments field on the checkout page.

Danger signs incorporate the word DANGER in white letters on a red symbolic oval shape over a black rectangular background. The worded warning message on the danger sign is black text on a white background. All Global Spill Control danger signs are manufactured to the requirements of Australian Standards – AS1319-1994.

A note regarding custom text on a danger sign:

Note: Only messages which are classified as hazard warning messages and the situation is likely to be life-threatening shall be used on danger signs.

For example, LIVE WIRES KEEP AWAY is a warning about a certain hazard and/or action whereas DO NOT ENTER LIVE WIRES is more a command, law or direction and is classed as a regulatory sign.

Symbols are not used on danger signs. If a symbolic sign is required, it must be a separate sign placed beside or below.
